The most beautiful thing about photography is the ability to change people. Photography allows us to touch other people no matter where they are, no matter their culture, religion, color, time period. With photography, you can connect, you can teach, discover, feel, relate. For me, the best photos are these that touch me. The photos that gives me tears, the ones that makes me feel a lump on my throat, a smile in my face or warmth on my heart. And those sensations are the beautiful thing about photography.

I primarily do travel and nature photography. I love being out in nature and this gives me a good excuse to be where I love to be. I love the silence and mindfulness. I enjoy just being and paying attention. I am very patient and can sit in one place for hours waiting for my subject to appear or to be in just the right light. It is a meditation for me.
